Moyno, Inc. Receives ISO 9001-2000 Standards Recertification
During the week of November 17-21, 2008, the Springfield, OH Moyno facility was audited by Lloyd's Quality Assurance Registrar for recertification to the ISO 9001-2000 Standards. With the help, cooperation, and dedication of all employees at the facility, Moyno passed the audit and was awarded a new Certificate of Compliance good through year 2011.
Lisa Espinosa, Quality Assurance Manager, stated that "because the audit was such a success, there are high expectations for the next audit. The task of maintaining these standards is not easy and requires constant and continuous attention. Furthermore, a new edition of the ISO standard, ISO 9001-2008, was released in November of 2008. Compliance to this standard will be required by the end of 2010". ISO 9001-2008 includes specifications for "Information Technology" and all related documentation. It focuses on changes that organizations might make to better comply with the spirit of the standard without adding, deleting, or altering its requirements.
Espinosa went on to say, "I look forward to the tasks at hand, and know that with the workforce involved, we will continue to be successful. I would like to issue sincere thanks and congratulations to the entire Springfield Moyno facility for a job well done!"
